Project Manager / Resourcing Coordinator.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for resourcing account manager’s projects and assignments with the relevant skills and qualifications internally to fulfill each task along each project milestone, ensuring scheduling is accurate, and that all necessary parts of the project are completed by the team on time and within budget and to a high standard.

As a Resourcing Coordinator will be responsible for the teams workload to be at capacity, making sure the teams know what is in their daily / weekly schedules (Job Sheets), reporting on team weekly /monthly utilization, and when the next availability is for new projects and assignments to begin / end.

A typical working day will involve communicating with multi-disciplinary teams including marketing and design, graphic designers, brand designers, motion design and more to ensure that the project brief is understood and adhered to, workload management, meeting deadlines and overseeing a high standard of work is produced for all clients.

You will also confidently update all the relevant stakeholders on the status of projects, identifying barriers to progress and proposing appropriate solutions, managing budgeted hours, as well as expectations on project delivery.

Key tasks that you will be working on:

  1. Effectively project managing tasks to ensure all projects and assignments  are delivered following the agreed internal processes and workflows are driven efficiently.
  2. Continuously seek ways to improve project delivery processes.
  3. Use project management knowledge and experience to improve output quality, whilst coordinating and supporting the teams to produce the best digital work in line with the functionality and capacity of Origin's systems.
  4. Champion use of project and time management software, providing training to relevant parties to ensure tools and documentation are used correctly.
  5. Coordination of collaborative daily and weekly meetings with all relevant teams within the project ensuring that they are effective, attendees are adding value and outputs are clear and actionable.
  6. Attend and participate in internal meetings and provide relevant and timely structured project management information. 
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to optimise customer/user experience.
  8. Organize and proactively engage in constructive end of project reviews, identifying and recording improvements and learnings, on a stop, start and continue basis.
  9. Review, understand, interpret, and deliver post-campaign analysis, learn lessons, and influence future campaign/product planning.
  10. Participate in relevant training and development activities that are necessary to upskill, remain competitive in the marketplace, and as required to develop in the role and company.
  11. Create and maintain the team's weekly job sheets.
  12. Weekly and monthly reports for team utilization.
  13. Team capacity reporting for future projects and assignments.
  14. Undertake other projects or assignments from time to time to support your learning, development, and the wider team.

What you need to succeed in this role: Key Skills & Attributes:

Qualifications and experience

  • A third level qualification in project management/a professional qualification in project management or 2-3 years project management experience
  • Experience in delivering high quality, profitable projects.
  • Ability to work at a strategic and tactical level.
  • Experience of successfully  project managing in an agile  mixed studio environment (design, development and/or marketing)
  • Ability to manage a high volume of briefs including large complex projects.
  • A good understanding of optimum customer experience with strong awareness of the market and competition.
