Engaging, connecting and empowering Danske colleagues to improve their experience of working at Danske Bank. Working closely with the Danske digital team in an agile and creative way to deliver a valuable resource and collective intelligence tool.

The challenge

Communicate a new vision for Danske, provide tools to make work easier and a platform to make work better.

Danske Bank are transforming their proposition and reviewing the experiences they provide for customers and stakeholders. Danske employees are a key element in this change and the business is focused on including everyone on the mission of ‘Making More Possible’.
As part of this we worked closely with the Danske Communications and Digital teams to conceive and launch a new mobile product ‘Danske Life’ aimed at engaging, connecting and empowering Danske colleagues to improve their experience of working at Danske Bank.

The Solution & Outcomes

Its Working

The Origin UX, design and development teams worked hand in glove with the Danske digital team to plan, design an experience which is engaging, enjoyable and efficient to use. Regular feedback was sought from end users through prototype demos and workshops and this was delivered within an agile product development process.

The App was launched as part of a communications roadshow across Danske’s regions in NI and initial uptake has far exceeded expectations, with over 60% of employees using the app within the first 1-2 weeks! Version 3 of Danske Life will launch in late 2018 with large improvements to overall user experience and interactivity as well as enriching the Danske Network experience. Plans are also ahead to roll the product out internationally to the Danske Group.
