The Brief

Boston based Insurtech, Openly, is revolutionizing the home insurance marketplace with an innovative and comprehensive platform agents.

The insurtech firm has developed products and quotation software for insurance agents, allowing them to cut out common pain points and spend more time on their clients. Experiencing fast growth, Openly needed to scale their marketing efforts with a partner that would seamlessly integrate and empower their in-house marketing team.

The challenge

Openly wanted to leverage social media for brand awareness and outreach, but had no formal strategy to lead their approach. They also wanted to create a more centralized, automated solution for marketing communications around their state by state roll-out.

As a Hubspot partner with extensive experience in delivering for clients in the Insurtech and Fintech space, Openly tasked Origin to help across numerous services: social, design, email marketing, and analytics.

A PR and Media strategy was devised to ensure that Openly gained coverage within B2B press and across B2B focused audio formats such as industry podcasts. Origin laid out a digital strategy and tactical planning, implemented Hubspot, crafted marketing messaging, designed assets (email, digital ads, landing pages), and delivered digital advertising and led nurturing campaigns to drive an uplift in online leads.

The outcomes

By implementing more efficient Hubspot practices and using our in-house social media, and design expertise, Origin delivered an increase in brand engagement, site traffic, leads, and above all, onboarded agents.
